I love having a local hardware store with such variety. We farm and they have things we need for that. I can find cleaners for my home I can't find in he chain stores. The housewares are great too. I was sorry to see the Erdmans sell it, but thankful it was purchased by a good group and is still going strong.
Friendly staff out front but service department has taken a hit with new owners. Very unsatisfied with condition of my lawnmower after being serviced. I got my chainsaw back with the chain on backwards! Used to be such a nice store.
Very high quality tool rental department - Hardware's hardware, organization is what it is. The people here really go out of their way to help customers who ask. However, the selection of rental equipment sets this store well above others with which I've done business. I rented power washers, tile saws, and other equipment. They fixed my riding mower when it was acting up (much more reasonable price than the manufacturer's recommended shop), and they offer cleanings and service for all manner of power equipment. It may have to do with the fact that this is a small town and a farming community, but the people here really know their stuff.
I worked there for over a year. Wonderful people i worked with and the atmosphere was truly fun to work in. As a former employee and frequent customer I will always give a great rating to this hardware store.
has lots to look around at .. can find things there that i need other places don't carry or may not have .. get items i know other places don't have and the people ... well, they are just good ole home town folk.. love to go there. awesome !
